Chickami Challenge Course

Conveniently located on Rt 20 in Wayland on Camp Chickami's beautiful 26 acre property, the Chickami Challenge Course offers low ropes elements and high ropes elements. Anyone can benefit from a day at the course.  So come on out with your friends, co-workers, students, or team to experience the power of play.

High Elements
Our eight high elements range in difficulty and height to accommodate every climber.  While safely belayed by our trained staff push your limits and reach new heights with the following activities:

Tree Climb - A great place to start the course. Climb the staple ladder 40 feet up the tree to the top.

Dangle Duo - Resembling a giant ladder, this element takes teamwork and acrobatics to succeed.

Centipede - Climb the wiggling and wobbling 4x4's 35 feet to the top.

Burma Bridge - With one foot cable and two parallel hand ropes this element is an airy traversing bridge.  On this, our highest element, your feet are 45 feet in the air!

Leap of Faith - Climb to the platform 30 feet up and jump for the ball while supported by our belay rope.  It's harder than it looks!

Multi-Vines - Traverse the single foot cable using dangling hand ropes while resisting the urge to act like Tarzan.

Flying Squirrel - Do your best super hero impression while your group pulls you 25 feet into the air.

Swingshot - Be prepared for the ride of your life!  Your team will pull you up 35 feet in the air before you pull the rip-cord and go for a swing through the trees.

Low Elements
Our nine low elements provide an excellent opportunity for teamwork and communication. Our experienced facilitators will challenge your group with games and initiatives chosen to further facilitate teamwork, communication, leadership, problem solving and more.

Moby Deck - Can your team balance this wobbly deck?

Wall - Get your group over this challenging 10-foot wall without the use of ropes.

Nitro Swing - Swing your team over the nitro-river without touching the ground.

TP Shuffle - Can you get organized while balancing on this narrow log?

Spider Web - Watch out for the giant spider as your team navigates through this sensitive web.

Wild Woozey - This element is all about trust and body position.  How far can you and your partner go as the foot cables get farther apart?

Low Mutli-Vines - Use the dangling vines to get your team from one side to the other, but don't forget the person following behind you!

Three Island Crossing - The bridge is out, how will your group cross from one island to the other?
