Information for Rental Groups

Overview

Camp Chickami has been a local favorite since opening in 1943.  Its 22 acres are graced by woodlands with winding trails, a lush field and stream. Its indoor and outdoor meeting spaces make it a perfect alternative for family reunion, retreats, church gatherings and more.

Availability

Filled with children during the summer months, Camp Chickami may only be rented on weekends during the summer from June 27 - August 16, 2009.  It can be rented seven days a week during the off-season from May 1-June 12, 2009 and August 23 - October 15, 2009.

Rental Rates

Camp Chickami is rented by the hour.  The cost is $100/hour for use of the facilities.  It does not include food service or programming. 

Facilities

Groups that rent Camp Chickami have use of: 

  • the main building
  • restrooms facilities with running water
  • outdoor pavilion with picnic tables
  • field, which is great for games 
  • athletic courts
  • nature trails

Programming Options

Camp Chickami has several program opportunities that can be offered to rental groups, including use of the swimming pool, low ropes course and/or high ropes challenge course. These programs require our staff expertise, which are an additional fee.

Location

Located off Rte. 20 in Wayland, MA, Camp Chickami is only 17 miles from downtown Boston.

Directions

Take Rte. 128 to exit 26. Follow signs for Rte. 20 West (Weston/Marlboro), and stay on Rte. 20 West for about 4 miles.

Look for Luigis on left. Camp Chickami is located on the left just after Luigis.  Look for the brown Camp Chickami sign.
